Two hundred exhibitors will convene in the 2008 edition of the National Trade Fair, the country’s most authoritative platform for the finest products of the 7,107 islands of the Philippine Archipelago.
The event is spearheaded by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) to provide marketing opportunities for the manufacturers of the regions. The National Trade fair serves as the culminating activity of a full-cycle assistance package provided by the Department of Trade and Industry to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
This 5-day annual event showcases products of selected Philippine manufacturers from the 17 regions of the country blending Philippine artistry and best manufacturing practices.
Products for showcase include Christmas and Holiday Décors, Arts and Crafts, Fashion accessories, Fresh and Processed Foods, Furniture, Gifts, Garments and Textile, Garden accessories, Home Décors, Jewelry, Kitchen and Tableware, Leather goods, Linens, Stationery and Desk Accessories and Organic and Natural Products.
The organizing team is also composed and supported by different government entities like the Regional Operations Group (ROG), Products Development and Design Center of the Philippines (PDDCP), Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development (BSMED) and other DTI agencies. |
