First Philippine Eco-Trade Fair unites green industries

In light of a revitalized global market driven by eco-friendly demand, the
Philippines will hold its first Philippine International Eco-Show that is expected to become the first trade promotions platform for environmentally compliant products and services in the country.

Set on August 26-28, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the 3-day event will feature an exhibition divided into three Zones: the Eco-Industrial Zone presents green building, transport, electronic parts, machineries, and equipment that demonstrate efficient energy practices and ecological solutions; the Eco-Lifestyle Zone houses natural and organic products, health and wellness services, as well as pleasant eco-places that offer healthy and wholesome living options; and the Eco-Advocates Zone, that connects public and private initiatives focusing on renewable energy and waste management.
 
 

The Eco-Conference on August 26 will serve as a venue for global stakeholders and the academe in discussing global trends, policies, and issues within the emerging eco-industry. Further, the show includes Special events such as the Philippine International Eco-Awards, Eco-Tour, and the Eco-Photography Tilt.
